Development and Leadership Coaching
Coach
Memphis TN

In the early 1980’s Josh joined his wife’s family business in the garden center and landscape industry and eventually became the owner. That chapter in their story lasted for over twenty years. Towards the end, Josh began to feel God's specific call to use his gifts and connections by serving in leadership at a local Christian non-profit.

“I was serving on two boards and volunteering for several other ministries, and it just made sense to take this passion I had and make it my career.” First, he accepted the role of Director of Development for Christ Community Health Services, a medical ministry providing quality healthcare in underserved neighborhoods. While at Christ Community, Josh was offered and eventually accepted the role of Director of Development at Briarcrest Christian School. Josh and his entire family graduated from Briarcrest, and he was serving on the school's board of trustees, so it was a great fit. He served as Director of Development for six years.

During Josh’s tenure at Briarcrest Christian School, he was also personally coached by Zach Clark, the founder of Development and Leadership Coaching. In 2018, Josh became the first Executive Director for the Center for Religious Expression, a religious liberty ministry with a national presence. He also began serving as a coach working directly with his former coach, Zach Clark. What started as a part-time job eventually led to a full-time focus.

Josh now serves as the lead coach for twenty different Christian schools and ministries located across the country and has helped support numerous donor development boot camps. When asked what he loves about coaching he always quickly says, “Kingdom impact. It’s incredibly exciting to be able to help leaders grow and then watch how God uses that growth to impact lives!”

Josh and his wife Jan have been married for thirty-eight years and are lifelong residents of Memphis, Tennessee. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. Josh enjoys following his beloved Ole Miss Rebels, playing golf, working out, and spending time with his grandchildren.
